Team Lead — Paid Training Provided

We're growing across Pullman, Moscow, and the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, and we're hiring a Team Lead to run jobs on-site, train new crew members, and set the standard for how TrueNorth shows up for its customers. This is a hands-on leadership role — you're still lifting and loading alongside the crew, but you're also the one making sure the job runs right and the team behind you is actually ready for it.
Your day-to-day:
- Leading crews on residential and commercial moves, specialty transport, and installations
- Training new team members on the job — pacing them up to speed without slowing down the work
- Keeping communication clear and direct with the crew, with customers, and with ownership
- Making sure jobs are staffed and equipped correctly before they start (crew size, gear, truck setup)
- Holding the crew to TrueNorth's standard of care, efficiency, and professionalism
- Flagging problems early — scheduling gaps, equipment needs, training gaps — instead of after they cost a job
You're a good fit if you:
- Have hands-on moving, labor, trades, or crew-lead experience — you've done the physical work and you can still do it
- Can lift 200 lbs repeatedly and keep pace with a full crew, full day
- Communicate directly and proactively — you tell people what's actually going on, not just what sounds fine
- Can train and mentor newer team members without losing pace on the job
- Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks — you notice when something's not going to work and say so before it becomes a problem
- Have steady, dependable availability — this role needs consistency, not a schedule that shifts week to week
- Have a valid driver's license
Schedule & Pay:
- $21.00–$25.00/hr based on experience
- Part-time to full-time depending on availability and season
- Primarily weekdays; some weekend availability helpful
