American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position requiring 2 years of experience plus prior travel nursing experience, working nights on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting

Night shift hours from 19:00–07:00 on an alternating 3x12 and 4x12-hour weekly schedule

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license with TX as the issuing or recognized state

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required — this requirement is firm

Prior travel nursing experience required

2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana and CBD products; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions

Must be available to start on the specified start date — no flexibility
