Electrical and HVAC/R Training Center is looking for you to join the Team of dedicated instructors. We are looking for a part time teachers for various locations: Flushing Queens, Suffolk county and Nassau County Long Island.
This position has the potential to grow to full time employment.
Potential Flexible Hours are between: 9 am to 1 pm, 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm, 5 pm to 9 pm, 8 am to 2:30 pm, 6 pm to 10:30pm depending on the class you choose.
This position is primarily responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success by performing the following duties.
Our program provides a comprehensive and intensely hands-on training to someone starting out in the electrical field. We are looking for instructors qualified in applying their skill and theory to instruct incoming students.
Instructor on site to assist with training and additional training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate, Educate, Develop and prepare present and future Electricians in all aspects of the educational process.
- Maintain expertise in subject matters taught.
- Provide regular, precise and timely feedback to students and school administration concerning academic progress as well as behavior and attendance.
Job Requirements/ Preferred Skills:
- Flexible work schedule- Available on call
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years minimum experience as an Electrician in Residential and light commercial technical Mechanical
- Circuitry, pipe bending, pectoral's, Schematics, Blue Prints services and NEC Code
- Ability to articulate and command a classroom
Pay: $38.50 - $40.00 per hour
