The Market is looking for an early riser to fill the position of part time Baker in the Bakery Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform bake/production work required to ensure product quality
- Control spoilage, sampling and food rotation
- Maintain proper product assortment, merchandising and inventory controls in bakery department
- Have strong demonstrated product knowledge of bakery product
- Have ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Perform additional tasks as required by Management
Physical requirements of the position:
- Ability to work independently
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Work in temperature controlled environment
- Bend and lift up to 50 pounds; push or pull carts up to 150 pounds
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching above shoulders
- Ability to handle sharp implements (box cutters)
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and written
Candidates must have minimum of 1 year of baking experience
