We are a well-established custom injection molding company seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technical Supervisor to lead our 1st Shift molding department.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll spend your time on the production floor supporting the team, solving molding problems, improving processes, and ensuring quality parts are produced safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Supervise and lead first shift molding personnel.
- Troubleshoot injection molding processes and quality issues.
- Perform mold start-ups, process development, and process optimization.
- Coordinate mold changes and verify successful start-ups.
- Reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle times.
- Establish and maintain documented process parameters.
- Train and mentor operators, technicians, and material handlers.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Scheduling.
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of hands-on injection molding process experience.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience establishing and optimizing molding processes.
- Knowledge of engineering resins and commodity materials.
- Experience with mold setup, start-ups, and process validation.
- Ability to read part drawings and understand quality requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
