Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Voice Instructor to inspire and guide students in developing their vocal talents across a variety of artistic disciplines. Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive voice training programs tailored to students’ skill levels and artistic interests
- Conduct engaging voice lessons that incorporate vocal technique, performance skills, and expressive interpretation
- Develop curriculum materials that integrate music theory, singing techniques, theater arts, choreography, and musical instruments when applicable
- Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior, creativity, and active participation
- Collaborate with students on individual lesson plans that support their personal goals in singing, acting, dance, or musical performance
- Organize student performances, showcases, or recitals to demonstrate progress and boost confidence
- Provide constructive feedback to students on technique, stage presence, and artistic development while encouraging growth and resilience
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching voice, music education, or performing arts with a focus on creative arts instruction
- Strong background in curriculum development for arts education across various disciplines such as theater, dance (including ballet), musical instruments (including singing), and visual arts like photography or sewing
- Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with early childhood education and preschool settings preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies to foster an inclusive and disciplined learning environment
- Ability to teach choreography, dance instruction (including ballet), or other movement-based arts as part of vocal training
- Skills in lesson planning tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges
- Excellent communication skills for working with students of all ages and backgrounds; experience tutoring or providing adult education is a plus
- Additional skills such as culinary experience or childcare knowledge are considered advantageous but are not mandatory

Pay: $44.00 - $56.00 per hour
