Happy Tails Travel, Inc. is a growing pet relocation company specializing in coordinating safe, detailed, specialized, and individualized travel for pets worldwide. This is not a hands-on pet role—this is a fast-paced, logistics-heavy, client-“facing” position. We are seeking a Pet Travel Specialist who will fit perfectly into our small, fast-paced team helping to coordinate pet travel for beloved family members.
Who This Role Is (and Is NOT) For
This role is for someone who:

- Is comfortable with sales and client communication
- Can work independently without constant direction
- Wants a long-term role, not a steppingstone
This role is NOT for someone:
- Looking to change careers or “try something new”
- Who prefers hands-on animal work
- Who needs constant guidance or struggles with multitasking
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client inquiries (email, phone, forms)
- Build and explain travel estimates
- Coordinate complex pet travel logistics (air + ground)
- Prepare and review travel documents, both domestic and international
- Track active transports (GPS, flight tracking, messaging)
- Manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously
Knowledge requirements
- Knowledge of domestic and international geography a plus
- Knowledge of domestic dog and cat breeds a plus
- Excellent memory absolutely necessary
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 3+ years customer service
- 3+ years sales experience
- 3+ years in a fast-paced administrative role
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable handling high volume and time-sensitive tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, and Excel required)
- Typing speed 60+ WPM (test required)
- Must be based in Tucson, AZ area (must have ability to come to office, as needed)

Work Structure
- Part-time to start (this should be your primary job)
- Hybrid after training (in-office required initially)
- On-call availability (evenings/weekends/holidays, as needed, based on client's travels)
