Benbrook Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our dedicated team. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and maintaining regulatory compliance within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the provision of safe and effective care.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans.
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality of nursing care provided, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Managing the nursing budget and resources effectively.
- Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to promote effective communication and coordination of care.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve effectively.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software.
