The variety of the work keeps this job interesting: waterfalls, landscape construction, planting, carpentry, residential construction/demolition, hardscaping, plant care, and more. (NO Lawns or 60 hour weeks!) You’ll work closely with our talented team to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Build exceptional, sustainable landscapes with magazine-worthy water features and gardens.
- Help build an edible/permaculture farm
- Expand your knowledge of plants, particularly native perennials
- Work on century homes (during inclement weather)
- Keep worksites clean, organized and safe.
Requirements for any applicant ($17 - $20hr):
- Preferred experience level: 3 years in construction, landscaping, horticulture, or related fields.
- Some construction skills (carpentry or other).
- Use tools safely and efficiently (hand tools, power tools, etc.) to our quality standards.
- Follow directions, solve problems, adapt to change, and communicate effectively.
- Able to safely lift 50+ lbs and work long periods on your feet in various weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and team oriented.
- A positive attitude and attention to detail is essential for our entire team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Additional requirements for Crew Lead ($23 - $27/ hr.):
- Track record of professional competence in construction, horticulture, permaculture, carpentry, or farming.
- Passion for ecological or sustainable landscaping.
- Leadership and supervisory experience, including as a foreperson.
- Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing field projects.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
