Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Form Cleaner to join our team and ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall maintenance of manufacturing or food processing facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, hygienic environment by performing thorough cleaning of forms, equipment, and work areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation will help uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in our operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and efficient workplace while gaining valuable custodial and industrial cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- 1. Count inbound forms and verify against expected receipts. Properly document discrepancies and damages. Report such to supervisor/manager/lead.
- 2. Determine need for cleaning/oils. Sort as appropriate.
- 3. Safely operate hand tools to remove debris or damaged wood from forms.
- 4. Safely operate power tools, such as grinder or table grinders, to remove other debris/dirt from forms as determined to be needed.
- 5. Apply fresh form oil as deemed necessary using provided sprayers.
- 6. Stack cleaned/prepped forms per category/size and stock/store properly.
- 7. Pick outbound prepped forms for transfers and/or live customer orders as required/instructed.
- 8. Perform general shipping processes such as wrapping and applying proper shipping labels, producing BOLs, etc.
- 9. Perform general housekeeping responsibilities such as sweeping, mopping, etc as instructed/needed.
- 10. Maintenance damaged repairable forms as instructed.
Skills
- 1. Able to lift 50lbs.
- 2. Use all provided PPE as instructed/intended.
- 3. Operate forklift, pallet jack, grinder, and hand tools such as hammers and chisels.
- 4. Basic math such as counting, adding, and calculating area (length x width).
- 5. Safe use of water-based form oil and applicator.
- 6. Other duties as assigned."
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
