Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks with expertise in drink service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a fast-paced food industry setting
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant POS platforms
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining high-quality guest interactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food handling and preparation tasks
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or fine dining experience demonstrating professionalism in serving guests
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service flow
