ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead the design, operation, and optimization of gasification systems — including gasifiers, purification, storage, and transmission — while managing silane, hydrogen, and nitrogen supply reliability under strict hazardous-chemical safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and optimize gasification, purification, storage, and gas transmission systems

Ensure reliable and safe supply of silane, hydrogen, and nitrogen to production

Monitor system performance and lead troubleshooting of process deviations

Maintain compliance with hazardous chemical handling and safety regulations

Interpret and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and process control documentation

Develop and enforce emergency response and gas-leak procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Associate's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience with industrial gas systems in solar, semiconductor, or chemical manufacturing

Strong understanding of hazardous gas safety regulations (silane, hydrogen, nitrogen)

Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, and process schematics

Hazmat certification a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk throughout gas-handling and process areas for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
-
Ability to wear full PPE, including respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gear, for extended periods

Ability to work near pressurized gas systems and hazardous chemicals following strict safety protocols

Ability to climb ladders/stairs and access elevated platforms and confined equipment spaces

Capacity to respond quickly to emergency situations, including donning emergency equipment
