You'll be walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and talking to real homeowners about solar and roofing solutions from SunSent Solar & Roofing. No desk. No waiting for leads to come to you. Just you, a neighborhood, and the drive to fill our sales team's calendar with qualified appointments.

This isn't a closing role. Your job is to spark the conversation, build instant trust, and book the appointment. Our sales team handles the rest. But make no mistake: great appointment setters are the engine of everything we do, and we treat them that way.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Knock doors daily in assigned Kansas City neighborhoods — this is your primary activity, every shift
- Assigned neighborhoods throughout the Greater Kansas City Metro.
- Introduce homeowners to SunSent's solar and roofing solutions with a clear, confident pitch
- Qualify homeowners based on interest, home ownership, and basic eligibility
- Schedule on-site consultations for our solar and roofing sales team
- Hit and exceed daily and weekly appointment targets
- Track your activity and booked appointments using our CRM
- Attend daily team huddles, training sessions, and performance check-ins
- Represent SunSent with professionalism and energy — you are the first impression
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You are comfortable walking and knocking doors for the majority of your workday — no exceptions
- You can handle rejection without losing momentum; every "no" is just the next door
- Strong communicator — you're personable, clear, and can build trust in under 60 seconds
- Self-motivated and competitive; you don't need someone standing over you to perform
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable to your numbers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach assigned territories
Experience:
- 1+ years in D2D sales, canvassing, appointment setting, or field sales preferred
- Background in solar, roofing, or home services is a plus — but not required if you've got the hustle
