Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $21.43/hr. – $26.26/hr. DOE
Position Responsibilities:
-
Operate polishers, buffers, and/or other special equipment
-
Safely operate machinery for polishing, buffing, and dull brushing
-
Use specialty machinery (belt sanders, grinders, buffers) and abrasive compounds to smooth and shine metal parts
-
Wear special dept protective equipment/suit
-
Inspect parts for imperfections, defects, cracks, etc
-
Keep work area clean and safe at all times
-
Must have attention to detail and work in a very safe manner
-
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary
-
Required to hold pipe up to 10 pounds for at least 10 minutes at a time
-
Follow all safety procedures

Must be able to work in a team setting

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Work area can become warm during summer months
