Job Title: Wound Care Nurse (LPN/RN Preferred) – Contract (1099)
Location: Birmingham Alabama
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Wound Care Nurse (LPN or RN preferred) to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a flexible 1099 position ideal for clinicians experienced in basic wound management and looking for per-patient compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
- Utilize UltraMIST therapy as indicated
- Assess and document wound progress accurately
- Follow established treatment protocols and infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with supervising providers and care team
Requirements:
- Active LPN or RN license (preferred)
- Experience in wound care strongly preferred but willing to train
- Familiarity with UltraMIST or willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation
- Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills
