Artisan Deck & Patio is a locally owned company based in Broken Arrow, specializing in custom decks, patio covers, screen rooms, and outdoor living spaces. We take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and creating outdoor spaces our customers love.
We’re seeking a skilled Carpenter who can work independently and take the lead on job sites when needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and can keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
This position also offers opportunity for growth. As you gain experience, you could manage your own job sites from start to finish, leading a small crew of 1–3 people and taking on increased responsibility. For now, we are looking for a reliable, capable carpenter who can be left on-site occasionally to demonstrate their skills and learn the basics of running a project.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and install custom decks, patio covers, pergolas, and enclosures
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and material lists
- Perform framing, layout, measuring, and cutting
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Work independently and unsupervised when needed
- Ensure projects meet Artisan’s quality and safety standards
- Keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining craftsmanship and safety
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience required
- Must be dependable and able to work unsupervised when necessary
- Experience in framing, deck building, and concrete work is a strong plus
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform standard construction tasks
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in the heat.
