- PA-C / APRN/NP: Starting at $50/hour
- MD / DO: $120–$145/hour
Essential Clinical Qualifications
Experience independently evaluating both pediatric and adult patients, including physical examinations, laboratory interpretation, and 12-lead ECG (EKG) interpretation.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
Position Summary
EquiPath is seeking an experienced PA-C, APRN/NP, MD, or DO to join our team as a Clinical Research Provider / Medical Sub-Investigator.
This position is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their current practice or explore an exciting new area of medicine. Whether your background is in family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics, emergency medicine, urgent care, or another clinical specialty, we’re looking for experienced clinicians with strong pediatric and adult assessment skills. Research experience is optional; excellent clinical skills are not.
Clinical research experience is welcome but not required. We’ll provide comprehensive training for the right clinician.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations on pediatric and adult research participants.
- Review and independently interpret laboratory reports, identifying clinically significant normal and abnormal findings.
- Independently interpret 12-lead ECGs (EKGs) in both pediatric and adult participants.
- Review medical histories, concomitant medications, and study eligibility criteria.
- Determine participant eligibility based on protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Evaluate adverse events and provide appropriate medical assessment and follow-up.
- Accurately document clinical findings in source documentation and electronic systems.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator, Medical Director, study coordinators, and sponsor representatives to ensure participant safety and protocol compliance.
- Participate in sponsor monitoring visits, investigator meetings, audits, and protocol training.
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and study protocols.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Florida license as a PA-C, APRN/NP, MD, or DO.
- Experience caring for both pediatric and adult patients is required.
- Must independently perform comprehensive physical examinations on both pediatric and adult patients.
- Must independently interpret 12-lead ECGs (EKGs) in both pediatric and adult patients.
- Must independently review and interpret laboratory reports, recognizing clinically significant normal and abnormal findings in both pediatric and adult patients.

Schedule

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on licensure, clinical experience, qualifications, and demonstrated competencies.
- PA-C / APRN/NP: Starting at $50/hour, with higher compensation based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated competencies.
- MD / DO: $120–$145/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated competencies.
