We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Water Technician to join our Rainbow Restoration team. This role is responsible for responding to emergency water, fire, smoke, and mold losses, performing mitigation services, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and demonstrates strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to consistently document job progress, interact professionally with customers, and accurately follow job scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation services, including water extraction, drying, & monitoring
- Perform fire and smoke mitigation, including debris removal, cleaning, & demolition
- Set up & remove drying equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
- Document job progress through photos, notes, and appropriate paperwork
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers and team members
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites, vehicles, and equipment
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in water, fire, or mold restoration required
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
