American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU travel assignment requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Position is in a hospital NICU setting with an average daily census of 30 patients
-
Patient ratio is 1:3
-
Floating required to Mother Baby and Pediatrics units
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Every other weekend coverage required
-
Epic EMR experience is required
-
Active Louisiana RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA certifications required: BLS and NRP

Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required for previous travelers; minimum 3 years required for first-time travelers

Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

First-time travelers are accepted for this position with the required 3 years of NICU experience

Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign travelers to an Emergency Team with an expectation to remain at or return to the facility during an emergency event

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process

All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
