Nicolock , is the Leading Manufacturer of Paving Stones, Retaining Walls, and other Concrete Products. We have an immediate opening for a Lead Forklift Operator for our Connecticut plant location. Our culture is focused on growth and our environment is fast paced.
Job Responsibilities:
· Inspection of each load to ensure the correct product is being shipped.
· Operate Company equipment safely
· Keep the yard clean and orderly
· Utilize an Inventory System to ensure all material in yard is available
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
· Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, i.e.speed limits, etc.
· Other tasks, as required
Job Requirements:
· 2-5 years of supervisor experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 2-5 years forklift experience along with truck loading experience, flat bed experience is a plus
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
· Ability to communicate in English; bilingual English-Spanish a plus
· Must be able to work in stressful situations.
· Must have an excellent attendance record.
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ensure customers/contractors and co-workers are following our safety policies.
