Qualifications:
*Requires at least 6 months in a licensed facility, prefer at least 1 year experience and/or a CDA and/or observations completed.

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Toddler Two Teacher to join our team! In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers aged two. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster early childhood development through innovative lesson planning, nurturing care, and effective communication with both children and parents. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies
- Engage children in meaningful activities that support their developmental milestones in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interaction
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and classroom experiences to foster strong partnerships
- Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and adhere to mandated reporting laws for child welfare concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development best practices and standardized testing when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, particularly with toddlers or preschoolers
- Knowledge of curriculum development, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Familiarity with early intervention practices, special education needs, and childhood development instruction preferred
- Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues
- Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
