Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters like ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity
- Work safely on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC guidelines and safety protocols
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper framing carpentry, renovation work, and electrical integration during new builds or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation
- Assist with schematic reading and programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation projects
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, schematics, and blueprints reading
- Proficiency using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools necessary for electrical installation
- Familiarity with NEC standards and safety regulations related to electrical work
- Ability to operate testing equipment including ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools effectively
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on electrical installations
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming or troubleshooting is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; handyman experience or additional construction skills are advantageous
