Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and setup to support kitchen staff when needed
- Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest seating and waitlists effectively
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest services in a fine dining or casual setting
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in breakfast or brunch settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance guest experience
- Background in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
