Pizza Cook / Line Cook /Short Order - The New York Deli in Williamsburg, VA is hiring full time and part time Pizza/Line cooks. Successful candidates will prepare and cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas and clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. Employees Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and pizza ovens and prepare specialty foods such as pizzas and sandwiches, while following specific methods. He or she will read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions including washing, cutting, and preparing foods designated for cooking. They will also measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
