We are looking for a VP of Marketing who can build the category-defining brand while remaining obsessed with the mechanics of the lead-to-revenue engine.
Summary
In this role, you will report directly to the CEO as a key member of the leadership team. You aren’t here to manage a massive agency or sit in high-level strategy sessions all day. You are here to build the GTM machine.
Your primary mandate is Demand Generation and Pipeline Velocity. You will be the architect of our growth engine, ensuring our sales team has the high-signal leads and technical ammunition they need to win. While you will own Brand, Product Marketing, and Analyst Relations, you will view all of them through the lens of revenue impact and trust-building.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Drive the Engine: Own the North Star metrics of qualified pipeline, CAC, and win rates. You are first and foremost a demand-gen leader who understands how to capture and create intent in a noisy market.

Positioning & Brand Evolution: Lead the charge in differentiating Venice within a crowded space. You will find and refine our unique tone of voice, evolving the brand from a series of use cases into a dominant category leader.

Sales Playbook Support: Act as a direct partner to the Sales team. You will be responsible for supporting the sales playbook with high-quality designed and edited materials—from pitch decks to technical white papers—that help AEs move Fortune 500 deals through the funnel.

Events, Summits & Conferences: Own our physical presence in the industry. You will strategize and execute our participation in key cybersecurity summits and global conferences, ensuring Venice stands out and captures maximum value.

Digital Media & Multi-Channel Growth: Manage our digital media footprint, orchestrating how we show up across social, paid, and organic channels to build a consistent "credibility engine."

Analyst & Industry Relations: Build and manage relationships with key analysts (Gartner, Forrester) to ensure Venice is positioned as the modern alternative to legacy PAM.

Requirements:
- Identity/Cybersecurity DNA: 10+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record in technical security. You must speak the language of the CISO.

Demand-Gen Specialist: You have a "superpower" in building lead-gen engines from scratch. You know which playbooks work in Cyber and which are a waste of budget.

The "Doer" Mindset: You are comfortable being a "team of one" initially - writing the copy, setting up the campaigns, and running the webinars - before scaling the team.

Technical Rigor: You can build credibility with highly technical founding teams and skeptical security buyers.
