Ocean Mart is Utah’s premier ethnic supermarket, and our produce department is the vibrant, bustling center of our store! We are looking for hardworking and detail-oriented individuals to join our Sandy team as Produce Clerks.

Whether you have grocery experience or are just eager to learn the trade, we provide the hands-on training you need to succeed.
What You Will Be Doing
- Stocking & Organizing: Keep our produce displays full, fresh, and beautifully merchandised throughout the day.
- Quality Control: Learn and practice strict FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and regularly cull damaged or spoiled items to ensure our customers get the absolute best quality.
- Customer Service: Greet shoppers on the floor and help them locate specific items in the department.
- Cleaning & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in both the back-room prep areas and on the sales floor.
- Material Handling: Safely move produce boxes and assist with unloading pallets using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
What We Are Looking For
- Physical Ability: This is a highly active role. You must be able to stand for long shifts, work in chilled environments, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work Ethic: A proactive, self-starting attitude and a willingness to learn about our unique international inventory.
- Flexibility: Retail requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience: Previous grocery, retail, or manual labor experience is a plus, but we are fully willing to train candidates with a great attitude!
