Overview
Holiday Inn Express on Wolf Road is seeking an experienced and professional FT Guest Service Agent to join our team Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. The ideal candidate will have worked at a hotel front desk and understand the responsibility of being the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere to both in-person guests and those calling in. This ability to multi-task is essential to this position. The Guest Services role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of guest services at our Hotel, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle incoming phone calls in regards to reservations, payments, and group inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using phone systems and front desk software.
- Dependability and Flexibility is a must
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services is required, particularly within the hotel environment.
- Candidates with Hotel Front Desk operations experience will be considered first .
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
