Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician supports the reliable operation of building systems and facilities across Premium Property Management’s portfolio. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of assets while contributing to positive tenant and resident experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized services.
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain detailed records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe.
- Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum 3 years of building maintenance or facilities engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial or multifamily properties a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
