Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for veterinary services.
- Maintain accurate records of client information, pet details, and medical histories.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist with light administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Handle heavy lifting as needed for supplies or equipment.
- Provide support in animal handling during client visits, ensuring safety for both pets and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with animal care practices is highly desirable; experience in veterinary settings is a plus.
- Skills in animal handling, including equine care or kennel management, are beneficial.
- A background as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
