Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food production appliances
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and sanitizing protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting seasonal or specialty dishes that align with our culinary standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Maintain proper knife skills for efficient food prep and portion control, supporting overall kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous dietary aide experience or similar roles in food service or healthcare settings preferred
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant environments demonstrating advanced cooking techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and food preparation
- Familiarity with food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering or large-scale meal preparation preferred
- Operating kitchen equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of the food industry standards for quality control and food safety compliance
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
