The Detailer is responsible for project coordination and the complete development of 3D models, approval and placement plans, and bills of material in accordance with project specifications and product requirements using Tekla, a comprehensive 3D modeling program. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent focus, and the ability to produce accurate work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The position will involve managing changing priorities, complex project requirements, customer expectations, and overtime needs while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage time, workload, and pressure effectively to meet commitments and support team success. Specific job responsibilities include reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to steel joists and deck to accurately prepare detailed drawings and bills of material.
