As part of our service, we loan coffee brewing equipment, water dispensers, kegs and refrigerators to our clients. Our service technicians go into the field in a company vehicle, visit our clients, perform regular maintenance and are dispatched to respond to issues with the equipment.
This is a Monday through Friday position. Hours of work are 6:00 am- 2:30 pm.
The Ideal Candidate is:
- Reliable and committed to consistency
- Friendly and communicative with both the team and our large clientele base
- Has mechanical aptitudes and is willing to learn more about our variety of equipment
- Preferably has prior experience with repair, light plumbing and electric, though we will fully train the right candidate
- Looking for stability and long-term employment
General Responsibilities:
- Use company provided iPhone to view and complete jobs/service calls
- Drive safely using a cargo van
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on equipment in the field
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Install and test new equipment
- Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle
- Use hand carts, basic hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrenches)
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
- Must bring your own set of basic tools
- Time management skills are a must, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Be detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to focus
- Basic light plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment
- Routinely lift ~50 lbs, as well as reach, bend, push and pull
