Maintenance Assistant
Duties:
- Part time/Monday through Friday/8am - 12:30pm main job is focusing on facility upkeep, and daily work orders for our elderly residents.
- Accompany your team lead with the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Fabricate and install various components with the Maintenance Director and equipment as needed- along with man power for furniture lifting.
- Assist with regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, addressing them promptly.
- Develop and implement preventive programs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment/appliance history.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, efficient use of resources, and time management.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of facility/apartment building safety protocols.
- Proficient in fabricating and installing various components and equipment; regarding apartment living repairs.
- Poblem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Respectful, patient, and kind communication skills, both verbal and written.
