Chartwells at the University of Kentucky is seeking an energetic, creative, and student-focused Unit Marketing Manager to join our Student Dining team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the student dining experience while driving engagement, meal plan participation, and brand awareness across campus.

We are currently hiring for two newly created positions, each supporting a distinct area of Student Dining:

Residential Dining Marketing

Retail Dining Marketing
In these roles, you will lead on-site marketing initiatives designed to increase meal plan and Flex Dollar utilization, enhance the student experience, and build meaningful connections with the campus community.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that promote Student Dining programs, services, and offerings.

Drive meal plan, Flex Dollar, and catering sales through targeted promotions and engagement strategies.

Create memorable experiences that enhance student satisfaction and participation.

Plan and coordinate special events, activations, and promotional activities across campus dining locations.

Engage directly with students through presentations, ocial media, campus outreach, and interactive programming.

Manage and support social media initiatives to increase awareness, engagement, and brand loyalty.

Collaborate with dining operations and campus partners to ensure successful execution of marketing programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing preferred

Minimum of three years marketing experience
-
Ability to present to large groups
-
Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
-
Passion for marketing, customer engagement, and creating exceptional experiences.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience with event planning, social media marketing, and promotional campaigns.

Ability to connect with diverse student populations and understand their needs.

Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset and strong organizational skills.

Excellent writing skills
