We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our busy animal hospital! Incumbent must love animals, be reliable/punctual, a self-starter, and excel at multi-tasking.
This position will be scheduled approximately 25-30 hours a week and will need to be available to work Saturday mornings.
This is a very fast paced position involving but in no way limited to: Answering all phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, processing payments, maintaining the flow of the practice, answering emails, text messages, entering medical histories, and ensuring that all clients and feel welcomed in a knowledgeable and secure environment.

- Along with a positive attitude and a high degree of energy, you will have excellent communication skills, work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in a veterinary hospital environment.
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients while building relationships.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth, including the introduction of new technology and internal processes.
- Ability to multitask, start and stop projects while seeing them through to completion.
- Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment and decision making skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
