Job Summary
Sirens Entertainment & Sports Bar is seeking energetic, personable, and dependable Cocktail Servers to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume nightlife environment. As a Cocktail Server, you will be the main point of contact for our guests on the floor, providing attentive service, preparing table orders, and creating an exciting, welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocol.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience with fine dining service, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and spirits is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with OpenTable reservations or similar booking platforms is beneficial
- High-Volume Multitasking: Handle fast-paced service seamlessly during peak hours, sports broadcasts, and late-night weekend crowds.
- Teamwork: Partner closely with bartenders, floor security, and management to ensure smooth shift operations and guest safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous serving or nightlife/bar experience is preferred; however, we will train strong, highly motivated candidates with excellent interpersonal skills.
Availability: Must have reliable night and weekend availability (including late nights).
Transportation: Must have consistent, reliable transportation for night shifts.
Professional Demeanor: Friendly, dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in an energetic, high-volume adult venue.
Age Requirement: Must meet local legal age requirements to serve alcohol in the state of Ohio.
