American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and 1+ year of experience in a hospital setting, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Work in a hospital setting performing CT imaging across Radiology and Cardiology
-
Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with neonatal and infant experience preferred
-
Experience with outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU cases required, with NICU and PICU experience preferred
-
Uses PACS system and administers contrast media
-
Preferred experience with biopsies and IV starts
-
3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Schedule includes Saturday through Monday shifts
-
May float to any campus within the health system as needed

EMR charting in Epic required
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience required
-
Current BLS and ARRT CT certification required
-
Active license required at time of consideration, if applicable

Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT, with and without contrast, required
-
Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Level I Trauma and pediatric acute care experience preferred

Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
-
Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred
-
Experience with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA preferred

Cardiac CT/calcium scoring experience preferred
-
Responsibilities include performing CT imaging studies across multiple patient care settings including ED and ICU

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

All clinical staff are required to pass a pass/fail EKG competency exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed
