Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and spending your days around boats and the St. Croix River?
Sunnyside Marina is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our Marina Operations Crew. This is a seasonal position that runs from approximately April 1 through Thanksgiving each year, with the potential for additional winter work on outdoor projects in some seasons.
No two days are exactly the same. One day you may be helping boaters on the water, the next you could be operating equipment, maintaining docks, washing boat bottoms, assisting with boat handling, or helping keep our marina looking its best.
Responsibilities
- Operate our portable pumpout boat and assist customers with waste tank pumpouts
- Perform marina and dock maintenance
- Wash boat bottoms during the fall season
- Assist with moving, stacking, and organizing blocks and stands
- Help with grounds maintenance and general marina upkeep
- Assist yard staff with boat handling and seasonal operations
- Support special projects as needed
Skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Strong customer service attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license required
