Exciting opportunity for an experienced Imaging – Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic medical imaging team in a hospital setting. This contract position offers engaging clinical challenges and the chance to work alongside skilled colleagues in a state-of-the-art facility.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday rotational 8-hour shifts: 7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, or 9:00am until cases are completed
- Rotational call coverage on weekdays and weekends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Interventional Radiology; neuro interventional radiology background strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing
- Proficiency with moderate sedation in imaging procedures (CT, MRI, US, Interventional Radiology)
- Experience with Meditech documentation system desired
- Professionalism and adaptability in fast-paced hospital environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Administer moderate sedation under physician direction for various imaging specialties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float as needed to support all departments within medical imaging
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation through Meditech
- Adhere to dress code (blue scrubs) and departmental guidelines
