Overview
We are seeking a skilled lead PainterS to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality. This role requires both creativity and technical skills, as you will work on various surfaces and materials.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
- Renovate and restore existing structures by applying plaster, stucco, or drywall as needed.
- Install fixtures and perform minor repairs to enhance the overall appearance of the painted area.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and quantities of materials required for each project.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Understand and apply color theory to achieve desired aesthetic results in various environments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project.
Qualifications
All candidates will be tested
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
