Position Title: Yard Coordinator

Position Summary
The Yard Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the appearance, organization, and accountability of all equipment located within the yard. This position plays a critical role in the processing, inspection, cleaning, and movement of heavy equipment while ensuring a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and detail heavy equipment and machinery in all weather conditions and climates.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for equipment processing, staging, loading, unloading, and transportation within the yard.
- Perform equipment in-processing and out-processing inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe wash rack area and equipment yard.
- Conduct routine yard inspections and ensure proper equipment placement and storage.
- Maintain accountability and accurate records of all equipment entering and leaving the facility.
- Utilize tablets and company software systems to document inspections, equipment status, and customer information.
- Take clear and accurate photographs of equipment for documentation purposes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, service advisors, sales personnel, and management.
- Record information legibly and accurately, ensuring all notes, inspections, and reports are complete and detailed.
- Identify and report equipment damage, missing components, safety concerns, or operational issues.
- Assist with inventory control and equipment tracking as required.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and dust.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Must possess strong observation skills and accurately document findings.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
