Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including buses, limousines, or personal vehicle deliveries, along predetermined routes during daytime hours
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all state transportation regulations and company policies to maintain compliance at all times
- Load and unload cargo or luggage carefully, utilizing manual handling techniques for heavy or bulky items
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays during shifts
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and passengers using effective communication skills to coordinate routes and address concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services with a strong safety record
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and commercial driving requirements
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cargo loading or unloading tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early
- Experience with paratransit or school bus driving is a plus but not required
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
