Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC system blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults within complex electrical components.
- Repair and service refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units where applicable.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure building automation systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize welding and mechanical skills for equipment repair or modifications when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing necessary certifications.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for troubleshooting, repairs, or installations involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems.
- Document all service activities thoroughly and communicate findings clearly to clients or management.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction or property maintenance environments with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Service technician experience with hands-on repair of mechanical and electrical components.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups.
- Electrical diagnostics expertise using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Mechanical knowledge of system repair, welding techniques, boiler operation, and equipment maintenance.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications like HVAC/R or building automation system training are advantageous.
- Experience with appliance repair or property maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to operate a <PERSON> driver license for transportation between job sites safely.
- Mechanical skills including welding or boiler repair are highly valued.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
