We are seeking a Vehicle Condition Inspector / Buyer Support Representative to travel throughout Central Florida and surrounding areas inspecting vehicles on behalf of our buying team. This role is critical in helping our buyers make informed purchasing decisions by providing accurate vehicle assessments, photos, and condition reports.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to auction locations throughout Central Florida and nearby markets
- Perform detailed visual inspections of vehicles, including interior, exterior, tires, body condition, and general operational condition
- Identify and document mechanical concerns, warning lights, damage, wear, missing components, or cosmetic issues
- Take clear, detailed photos and videos of vehicles
- Communicate findings promptly and accurately to the buying team
- Provide honest and thorough condition reports to assist with purchase decisions
- Maintain professionalism while representing the company in the field
What We’re Looking For:
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Strong mechanical aptitude / automotive knowledge
- Ability to identify common vehicle issues, damage, wear, and mechanical concerns
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Tech-savvy enough to use mobile apps, texting, email, and photo uploads
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel daily throughout assigned territory
Preferred Experience:
- Automotive dealership experience
- Service advisor, technician, appraiser, auction inspector, recon, or used car buying experience
- Mechanical background strongly preferred
Compensation:
- Part-time position
- Approximately 3–5 hours per day
- $20.00 per hour
- $25.00 bonus per unit purchased
