Position Summary
This support role ensures smooth front-of-house flow by greeting and seating guests, running food, resetting tables, and assisting servers to maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient dining environment.
Pay for this position is $10.00 plus Tip Share.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests; manage waitlists and reservations.
- Run food from the kitchen to tables accurately and promptly.
- Assist servers with refills, clearing, and resetting tables.
- Promote Rewards and Loyalty programs to guests.
- Upsell specials, appetizers, desserts, and beverages.
- “Sell the next visit” through creative cross-promotion of day parts and offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, entrance, and restrooms.
- Communicate wait times and table availability.
- Restock service stations and supplies.
- Support the rest of the service team however necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Work Requirements
- Prior restaurant or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
- Friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for the entire shift (6–10 hrs).
- Lift and carry up to 30–40 lbs (food trays, bus tubs, supplies).
- Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and carrying.
- Navigate a busy dining room quickly and safely.
- Tolerate varied temperatures and noise levels.
