Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Acute Rehab Registered Nurse and become a vital part of the recovery journey for patients transitioning from critical illness or injury to independence. Your expertise will help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence through comprehensive assessments, personalized care plans, and compassionate support.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individualized care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments, following strict aseptic techniques.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans that include mobility assistance, wound care (including suturing), and therapy services.
- Monitor patients' progress using advanced EMR systems, ensuring accurate documentation of medical records and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with discharge planning by coordinating post-acute care services, home & community care arrangements, and family education to ensure seamless recovery transitions.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of rehab nursing experience.
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification
- Must have experience with EPIC documentation
- Competency in PICC lines (care and blood draw), IV antibiotics, TPN, Tube feeding (NGT, Gtube, GJtube), EKG, wound care - Vac dressings, simple wound dressings, foley catheter and intermittent catheterization, bladder irrigation, trach care, blood transfusion, care of ostomies and different kinds of drains (JP drain), restraints.

Pay: $59.00 per hour

- Rehab nursing: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
