Job Summary
Command Roofing is a family-owned and operated commercial roofing company, that has been servicing the Southwest OH area for over 40 years. We focus on low-slope, commercial roofing and are seeking skilled Commercial Roofing Technicians to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work as a team to install different types of commercial roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
- Make sure jobs are completed on time and on budget.
- Mentor and manage Commercial Roofing Technician Assistants to ensure they learn commercial roofing techniques and skills.
- Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of the job sites.
- Safely and properly operate tools of the trade (rhinobond, hand tools, power tools etc.).
- Follow company’s safety procedures, as well as OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety.
- Interact and work well with customers, co-workers, managers, and team members
- Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
Required Skills:
- Be a reliable team member who shows up on time and actively participates in the daily operations of the roofing crew.
- Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety practices.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Must be able to climb 40ft. Ladders.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Valid drivers license preferred.
- Comply with OHSA requirements and Company's Drug Free Workplace Policy.
