Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming with in 30 min for a checked out room and 15 mins for a stay-over rooms.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, and polishing is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
