Vault 31 Bar is looking for part-time kitchen wizards to join our rad team.

Job will be mostly in the kitchen doing prep, cooking food, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining. You may also be asked to help with tasks on the lobby floor such as bussing, setting up games, cleaning up tables, etc.

-Prior restaurant experience and knowledge is preferred.

-Be familiar with commercial kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.

-Must be able to effectively focus on a number of various tasks at once. In other words, Multitask.
-Use of ladders and step stools.
-Able to be on feet for 4-8 hours a day.
-Able to lift 50+ pounds.
-Can manage time when solo or with a team.
-Keeps cool under pressure.
-Customer service skills.
-Proactive.
-Use iPad based POS and ticket systems.
-Videogame knowledge and culture preferred.
-Must be able to work with super nerds.
BIG BONUS:
-Vast knowledge kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
-Knowledge and experience with various TV and gaming console hardware from old to new.
-Understanding of TV/Console resolutions and refresh rates, and input/outputs like HDMI, Component, RCA, and RF.
-Able to identify gaming consoles based on controller/layout.
-Knowledge about game studios and exclusive titles.
-Experience running tournaments or contests.
-Basic to advanced tech troubleshooting skills.
-Follow eSports teams/games
Hiring for closing shifts/Late night shifts.
Wednesday-Thursday: 4pm-11:30pm
Friday-Saturday: 4pm-1am
Sunday: 4pm-11:30pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Application Question(s):
- Will you be able to memorize a house menu, and be able to make changes on the fly based on customer requests?
- Some day's you might be working alone, time management and order of operations are key. Do you have previous experience working alone in a kitchen? Opening and closing?
- Have you visited Vault 31 Bar before? Did you try something on the food menu?
- Are you familiar with old and new gaming consoles and TV's? Any PC gaming and troubleshooting experience or knowledge.
