**Position Summary:**
We are currently in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to become an integral part of our eviction defense and personal injury practice group. The ideal candidate will possess willingness to be trained, strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to client advocacy. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to two years of experience who is eager to advance their career within the field of personal injury law.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
-Appear in court in dispossessory proceedings.
-Supervise paralegal in eviction defense cases.
- Support all aspects of personal injury cases, including conducting client intake, managing case files, and preparing for trials.
- Engage in thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process.
- Attend court hearings and depositions as necessary, representing the firm with professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and refine legal arguments.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and legal trends pertinent to personal injury litigation.
**Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Must hold a valid license and be in good standing to practice law in the State of Georgia.
- Experience in personal injury law is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Capacity to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.
